Welcome to the under 12's webspace!

We are a lively group who enjoy our football.  We train hard and work for each other.  We did not have any Man of the Match awards in the 2009/10 season as we tried to encourage more team play.  Here we are at the start of the 09/10 season with our new kit.

MEMORIES OF THE SEASON

PLAYERS said:

"We started the season very well being top after our first two games, but then went a bit down hill after them two good results.  Half way through the season we were playing quite well, winning some and losing some, but we always had a good goal difference.  Near the end of the season we were in the middle of the table.  Our four last games were great after we won all of them."

"I think the best game of the season was definitely the Ilkeston away match.  I thought Ashbourne played superb.  That was my best game.  Although we drew we deserved to win.  We also had a great end to the season winning four matches on the trot."

"My favourite match was the last game of the season when we beat 4th place West Hallam 3-1."

PARENTS said:

"My memory was Josh Dutton being a dynamo on the pitch."

"Watching Regan rounding the keeper at Mickleover, and slotting the ball home with his left peg was a treat."

MANAGERS said:

"One outstanding memory for me was the way Josh Challinor rose majestically to power in a headed goal at Codnor.  Another is the fine team performance we put in at Ilkeston, where the lads imposed their game on decent opposition."

"Highlights were two rasping finishes from Sam against Allestree, both from outside the box;  Dan perfecting the left foot clearance; five goal hauls for Will and Jacob; and Kyle ghosting in at the far post to head home against Oakwood."

"The beginning and the end: our first game as new managers with a memorable 17-0 victory against Heanor and finishing with a great team performance against West Hallam."
